    The Position

    We are seeking a Compliance Analyst II to assist in the development and execution of best practices and processes focused on speed-to-market, consistency and compliance for all functions related to the implementation of rates, rules, forms and underwriting enhancements to our core products.


    Essential Job Responsibilities


    • Works with IT, Product and the Compliance Manager to develop and maintain processes and procedures to facilitate the timely and accurate execution of all types of product enhancements.

    • Works with Legal, Product and the Compliance Director to develop and maintain processes and procedures to monitor and respond to any and all Regulatory and/or Legislative requirements or changes.

    • Works with Legal, Product, IT, Claims, Underwriting, Customer Service and the Compliance Director to research new state expansion due diligence turning statutes, regulations and case law into compliant forms to be implemented upon approval of the DOI.

    • Serves as the enterprise’s key resource for Document Automation and management of all corporate policy forms.

    • Works with Legal, Product, IT, Claims, Underwriting, Customer Service and the Compliance Director to research revised policy contracts and other forms to assure consistency between states where possible as well as assuring compliance with all statutes, regulations and case law into Compliant Forms to be implemented upon approval of the DOI. Also responsible for communicating changes throughout the organization.

    • Works with Legal, Product, IT, Claims, Underwriting, Customer Service and the Compliance Director to research new state expansion due diligence assisting with interpretation of statutes, regulations and case law into Product Specifications.

    • Serves as consultant for all other members of the Product Department as to best practices and current system functionality as well as provide guidance and advice for enhancements or changes, especially where forms are affected.

    • Serves as a liaison and committee member to various groups charged with directing and designing system edits, workflows and various processes and procedures necessary to effectively run our business.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Experience/Skills Requirements


    • Minimum of four years of automobile insurance experience required, non-standard preferred.  Solid understanding of the insurance industry needed.

    • Specific knowledge of the states in which PGC does business is preferred.

    • Experience reading and interpreting regulations and statutes is required.

    • Experience with the rate/rule/forms development and filing process within P&C preferred.

    • Experience with Microsoft Office required, intermediate excel and word skills a must.

    • Working knowledge of the AS/400, Ipub, Claim Commander  and other company operating systems beneficial

    • Position requires the ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and basic statistics.

    • Ability to collect, compile and organize facts, figures and/or other information in accordance with product development procedures or project specifications

    • Position requires the ability to provide oral and written communication regarding compliance issues to various departments and levels of management

    Education Requirements


    Bachelor’s degree in Business (Marketing, Insurance, etc.) or equivalent experience required.
